The Carrillo “A-Beam” Connecting Rod

Carrillo Industries has designed and manufactured a connecting rod that is markedly different in appearance than the more recognizable “H-Beam”. We refer to this piece as the “A-Beam” or “Pro-A”.

We initially introduced this part to the marketplace through our sister company, JE pistons. We wanted to distribute the part slowly to make sure we could meet manufacturing requirements. The success of the new A-Beam has been tremendous. We are now formally introducing the Pro-A to the entire performance community

The new Pro-A is designed by Carrillo engineers, manufactured at our facility from the same parent material that has been proven in the better-known “H-Beam. With the implementation of modern machining methods as well as a more basic design, the Pro-A requires less machine time and less detail effort. Furthermore, the Pro-A will be offered in only common part numbers and common lengths. These efficiencies have allowed us to offer this part at a significantly lower price than our widely accepted “H-Beam”. All details of design, dimensional integrity and balance are parallel with those of the well-known H-Beam.

The Pro-A is designed for all types of restricted environments including, but not limited to sport/compact, late model, street/strip, and sportsman applications as well as most standard stroke motorcycle applications.

Carrillo’s introduction of the new Pro-A is intended to allow more members of the high-performance community access to the integrity and quality of Carrillo connecting rods.

Our new brochure addresses the Pro-A as well as the other lines of connecting rods available through Carrillo and our distributors.
